Hey, I recorded at a studio that used Q-Base, and want to take the projects
we did there, and transfer them to my mac so that i can use if with Logic
express. 

What do i need to do for this to happen....is there any thing my engineer
has to convert.

ANy help would be amazing

I guess your best bet would be to export as OMF and as a standard MIDI 
file. The OMF file will import nicely into Logic (hopefully at least), 
so will the MIDI file.

One thing to keep an eye at is the OMF exporting options in Cubase. From 
what I remember there's something like "in/exclude fade files" or so in 
the export dialog box. These should better be avoided in the OMF export, 
as you may end up with lots of small weird sounding files that you'd 
have to delete manually inside Logic.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
