Alright Now is a good one... I had the same discussion with a fellow local guitarist 2 months
ago...
How do you voice it?
I do it like this (A-string to e-string):

A,e,a,e,a
A,e,a,e,a
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,e,a,e,a
A,e,a,c#
A,f#_g,a,d,f#
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,e,a,e,a

Another riff that\ufffds most often voiced wrong is Owner of a lonely heart...

Peter Duemler wrote all right now as this:-

"I do it like this (A-string to e-string):

A,e,a,e,a
A,e,a,e,a
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,e,a,e,a
A,e,a,c#
A,f#_g,a,d,f#
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,f#,a,d,f#
A,e,a,e,a"

sorry Peter, which part of the song is that? I'm not trying to flame
anybody, merely trying to establish if this song that people pay us to play
is being done accurately by myself?? I thought All right now was based
around Amajor, D major and G major (using various inversions) ?????

I might post an MP3 of our version of allright now to our site- and risk
putting mine out on the line
(so to speak :-) )

Cheers
