Hi, I have make some bench, Speed and Size code. GCC vs ADS 1.2 GCC vs ADS 2.2 GCC vs IAR 4.30 IAR 4.30 vs ADS 1.2 IAR 4.30 vs ADS 2.2 And the GCC lose allways.... and for Rowley may be it's ok for you. But we uses a real JTAG. (JENNI, NOHAU, MAJIC MX , OPELLA, GENIA) And it's impossible on Rowley configuration, I have download the eval... 35ko/sec with CrossConnect.it's funny.....My code size is 2Mo The JTAG/Software of Rowley is a good configuration if you have a little code on little ARM... But if your code is big....Drink some Coffee.... And the problem with some little company (Rowley) is the support...I'm french and I want a french Support no a english support. best regards Yodathegreat -- In lpc2000@yahoogroups.com, "bell_c_d" <bell_c_d@y...> wrote: > > --- In lpc2000@yahoogroups.com, "yodathgreat" > <christophe.darnet@l...> wrote: > > > > Hi all, > > > > for choice a ARM Compiler Its' very simple. > > No professional use GCC. > > > > Only ADS 1.2 or 2.2, Or IAR compiler.(there are similar) > > > > The GCC it's only for student, home work or for Linux user. > > > > Best regards > > Yodathegreat > > > > > > Just one data point, but: I'm a professional developer (30 years s/w > development experience from micros to mainframes).
