You don't say which version of GCC you're using (yet you do quote versions for other tools), nor which libraries you're linking in. Code size is dependent upon the libraries you link which is why we have written our own. > 35ko/sec with CrossConnect.it's funny.....My code size is 2Mo You only pay £99 for CrossConnect, but we can download at more than 35KB/second. 2MB and you'll need to use a big LPC with external memory. > The JTAG/Software of Rowley is a good configuration if you > have a little code on little ARM... > But if your code is big....Drink some Coffee.... Why would anything else be better *if* you're downloading to flash? From our experience, StataFlash-based devices take one hell of a long time to erase, but can be programmed at about 200K/second. RAM development is, of course, another matter but even then an ARM7TDMI-S is limited in speed. We're looking at accelerating the CrossConnect and keeping the price point the same. > And the problem with some little company (Rowley) is the > support...I'm french and I want a french Support no a english support.
