I have no interest in developing anything for anybody. I have wandered all over Google and found a couple of sites but the code is limited in one way or another. I am beginning to wonder if anyone has bothered with FAT32 outside of Windows and Linux. Then again, maybe there isn't a need for much of a file system outside of Windows and Linux. I am going to download the source for newlib and gnuarm and see what assumptions they made for functions like fopen, fclose, etc. Maybe I'll find a hint. Maybe there is a way to yank the code from Linux. Or, maybe just a lookup table. Or even a proprietary database and virtual storage. Actually, virtual memory looks like an easy way to go. Just one huge file. I like this... Just kicking it around... Richard
