Hi Alan, I found the GNU assembler simply a back-end for the compiler and overly complicated to drive.Instead, I have used the IAR workbench purely for it's assembler. This is a far more standard assembler and very easy to use. Download the demo from IAR as the assembler part is not limited by any trial license.
