Not sure if you guys are aware of this document, but this document:

contains information on the MMC/SD protocol, commands and responses, 
password unlock, and even some details on SDIO.  Far from complete, 
but a pretty good source of information.  Even has functional code 
that illustrates how to do many things.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
