How did you get that value?  160Mbits/second with the 4-bit 
interface means 40MHz clock, which means the enhanced cards either 
support higher than 25MHz clock, or they're remapping some of the 
pins for a wider data bus.  My assumption is they've just upped the 
clock rate to 40MHz.

What speed do you get for reading at 52MHz, and what speed do you 
get for writing at 26 and 34MHz?  I'm assuming this is an extreme 
III SD card you're referring to?  They've obviously bent the rules 
for this card, but I can't find any product details as to what "ESP" 
means, do you have any idea?
