Umm, OK, I sort of see what you are getting at.  But my sympathies for 
someone reverse engineering the boot code and then damaging their chip is 
somewhat limited.  It's certainly no messier than I would have 
expected.  From your comments I thought maybe you had found something 
unexpected or strange.  It certainly doesn't strike me as a major flaw, or 
even a minor one come to that.
