Hi Robert,

what makes you think that Philips dropped the ETM? Of all currently 
available LPC2000 devices only the smallest LPC2101/02/03 do not have 
ETM. Not too many customers are using it though because is does cost 
10 additional pins on top of the JTAG pins.
