Basically one of the main purposes of my project is to interface with the OBDII port on you car to do various things. Right now I'm stuck using a chip from Elm Electronics -- great chip, but expensive. I'd much rather handle the OBDII communications myself, but I don't have the $$$ to buy the documentation.
