I have been using the Ashling EVBA7 board with the soldered on LPC2106 and using the Ashling GNU development tools with their excellent debugger Pathfinder. After developing with this combination for several months I have run into a memory problem. So I requested and have now received several LPC2214 chips and a 144 Pin adapter for the EVBA7. I also ordered and received a new EVBA7 development kit this week which contains the latest version of the Ashling development software version 1.12. While the Ashling web site infers this version of the development software supports the new LPC22xx chips it seems to be missing some stuff. I have removed the soldered LPC2106 from the EVBA7 and installed the 144 Pin adapter. The Philips ISP utility will see the new LPC2214 perfectly and Pathfinder will load and run but I can't flash or even check the device status in the Pathfinder flash utility. I reviewed the source for the flash utility and it does not seem to have any support for the LPC2214. I also did not receive any instructions at all on the proper installation and use of the 144 pin adapter so I am only guessing on the proper jumper settings. Does anyone have instructions and/or more recently updated that supports the 144 pin adapter and the LPC2214 using Pathfinder? Thanks Rick
