Jerome, please check pin 0.31, description in the manual, search for it in this forum. By the way, I am serious, I remember something about 0.31 and JTAG and SPI, there was a connection but I can't recall what it was. I think if 0.31 is sampled with the "wrong" polarity at reset, the JTAG pins and SPI pins are somehow altered. Hope this helps, Bob --- In lpc2000@yahoogroups.com, jk jlkj <njad2002@y...> wrote: > > Hi All, > > I am facing a reset problem in LPC2214. The problem is limited to improper operation of SPI peripheral, when using a RC reset or a supervisory IC TPS3125J18. But, if i use a simple reset switch arrangement, which shorts the Reset pin to ground momentarily and then pulling the Reset pin high through a resistor of 10k then, the SPI operation seems to work properly. > As we are developing a commercial application, this type of reset switch operation would not be desirable. > I am unable to understand, why only the SPI should malfunction. If at all there is a reset problem, then why should there be no problem in the functioning of the other peripherals. And also, why should the problem be resolved by the provision of a reset s/w. > > I hope some one can guide me in this respect. > > > Regards, > Jerome > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Jiyo cricket on Yahoo!
