You are right, the LPC2148 CANNOT act as a host - you cannot plug a pen drive into it. But that's not the question that was asked. ;-) What was asked was can the LPC2148 connect to a PC over USB so the PC would be the host. Sorry if that's something I didn't make clear. I tried to extend my answer into one of the questions that wasn't asked.
