This is on a system (Thinkpad R51) that refuses to work with OCD Commander at any speed, probably because it's too fast. It works fine with Rowley. I'm using the Olimex wiggler-clone. Has anyone seen similar issues with H-JTAG? Does it have limitations with regard to system speed or port configuration - ECP/EPP/Bidirectional? > > Is Olimex coming out with an affordible USB JTAG anytime soon? > > Thanks, Karim > Karim, I have used H-JTAG with an IBM Thinkpad T23, and the more recent versions of H-JTAG work great with it. If you are using H-JTAG with the Olimex Wiggler clone, I seem to recall that H-JTAG as it is downloaded is not correctly configured for the Olimex Wiggler clone. You need to go into H-JTAG's configuration section and set it up to correctly work with the Olimex Wiggler clone. If you do not do that, you will get the check connections and power message, and H-JTAG will not work with anything. I use it with ARM SDT2.51, but I have tried it with the 32k demo version of IAR and it works fine. I'm sorry but I can not recall right now which settings that I had to adjust to get H-JTAG to work with the Olimex Wiggler clone, but it will work with it if you get the settings correct. -- Dave
