The argument still seems to concern a non-issue: if IP protection is really *that* important to a designer, it would be a bit foolish to depend on something implemented in software by a chipmaker in any case. For the vast majority of LPC users, I suspect that this is not an issue. The others can choose a different chip. Frankly I'm impressed that Robert from Philips takes the time to watch this list at all; if I were in his position, the accusations of deceit and incompetence would have made me leave a long time ago.
