Thanks, (again) Karl.

I've done that but when I read the flash buffer
the value in position 0x1FC is 0x21346587
instead of 0x87654321. Do you know why?

What can I do to correct the problem?
Write 
  .word 0x21435687

I'm using GCC 4.0.2
