Re: trashed 2148 bootloader

2006-02-21 by Jayasooriah

Hi Jean-Rene,

I agree it is not being helpful but I am resigned to private discussion
mode because a vocal minority in this forum (that includes Robert from
Philips) will stop at nothing to discredit anyone who even remotely
suggests there are problems with the boot loader implementation.

To put it bluntly, the flash programming algorithm implementation in the
boot loader is broken. This is not the only thing broken in the boot
loader. I am hesitant explain all this in this forum because I am tired of
abuse from Philips fans.

I am documenting problems and would like input from anyone who has
problems. In return for your input I can offer solutions to overcome some
of these problems. Thus I asked dodge1955 to get in touch with me directly.

Jaya
