I see that Rowley is offering a Dev board for the new Luminay Micro device that uses the Cortex M3 core. This is much more affordable than the official kit. http://www.rowley.co.uk/crossfire/crossfire_lm3s102.htm It comes with an apparently full-featured version of CrossWorks that is license-locked to the board. This is a very attractive offering! They also have a board based on the lpc2138: http://www.rowley.co.uk/crossfire/crossfire_lpc2138.htm And one based on the MSP430: http://www.rowley.co.uk/crossfire/crossfire_msp430.htm The MSP430 board is the only one that has a DB9 for serial communication, in addition to the integrated USB JTAG device. I wish the Arm boards had a serial port :-( The MSP430 board also has Ethernet, making this a terrific bargain! Eric
