Hello I have a question concerning your sample code from the file list.

gnuarm_lpc2148_io_uart_timer_irq.zip 
GNUARM, on LPC2148, blinking led, uart polling write, uart IRQ read, 
timer IRQ

Have you ever established any problems with spurious interrupts?

Because there is no isr-handler in the sample uart code.
