I thought about that after I posted my message. I don't use Keil now but I'll try to go to the class in Orlando, anyway. Keil's 16K limit on their free version seems a little small, compared to IAR's 32K limit. Or they'll come out with a license-locked version of their IDE that has no limits, but can only work with one specific Dev board. Rowley started doing this and it makes a great deal of sense. This lets me evaluate the tools without artificial limits (either in Kbytes or days), and if I get serious about it I can buy the full version. Eric
