I just came across the ADuC702X family of parts from Analog Devices. Anyone seen them yet? They are very immature at this point, but very promising. 32-bit ARM core anyone? The datasheets are *very* incomplete, so be warned. I love to see similar parts getting dumped to the market which creates competition amongst manufacturers. That's always good for developers like us! ;) By the way, these parts have a very nice set of *quick start* evalkit for $250 which is quite decent (USB access, JTAG emulator, etc..). It'd be nice if Philips had done the same thing. I remember way back when I was trying to put together a set of tools to get going, I had to spend a lot of time putting together something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Not to mention that the third party tool sellers don't always have the easiest websites to follow. Anyway... I just wanted to bring it to your attention.
