Switching Power Supplies

We have designed a LPC2106 board which currently use linear regulators. 
I am considering using switching regulators to cut power consumption
Has anyone suggestions and experience for suitable switching regulator 
chips for the 3.3 and 1.8 v? I would like an input range from 12 - 24 volts.
