Owen Take a look at Linear Technology's LT1934( max 250 ma) to generate the 3.3V. They come in a SOT-23 package and use small external components. The max Vin is 34 volts. You can convert the 3.3V to 1.8 volts using an LDO or a switched cap regulator like the LTC1508-1.8. If you need more output current, let me know what your requirements are and I might be able to suggest something more appropriate. There literally hundreds of different switching regulators so good hunting... Wayne Owen Mooney <ojm@...> wrote: We have designed a LPC2106 board which currently use linear regulators. I am considering using switching regulators to cut power consumption Has anyone suggestions and experience for suitable switching regulator chips for the 3.3 and 1.8 v? I would like an input range from 12 - 24 volts. Owen Mooney Yahoo! Groups SponsorADVERTISEMENT --------------------------------- Yahoo!
