Lpc2000

Hello
I'm a student of Electronic Engineering in Argentina. And I'm 
migrating from AVR to ARM. As I have to make an investement (The 
Dolar si too expensive, that's why I have to take special care of 
the money I spend) I would like to know the known and common 
problems I might have with Philips LPC2106...I read somewhere that 
there is no Code Protection in this series...things like that are 
what I would like to know before spending my money on a dev board, 
processors, and tools...
