Hi John,

The dhrystone and whetstone benchmarks were compiled with -O3. We build our C library with -O1, I've experimented with building it at -03 and it doesn't seem to make much difference. 

I'll put the CrossWorks project and source code on our website when we publish the benchmarks - should be later this week. I downloaded the source code from what I remember was some sort of US govt research website (I can't find it anymore) and just changed the source to #include debug_stdio.h rather than stdio.h.

I think the GCC compiler setting KEIL compare is without optimizing.

What was the settings in your  Optimization Level in CrossWorks ?

Could you please mail me the two program source code 
Dhrystone v2.1 adn Whetstone to (john_2005@... )?
