If you are looking for good user support for an ARM part, I don't know
that you will do any better than the Philips parts and this group. I
am still amazed at how this family of parts has so rapidly spawned
user support while other very similar parts by different manufacturers
seem to be ignored.

I guess the compactness of the physical part impresses people...

I originally considered the OKI ARM parts when the Philips parts were
not out and continued to evaluate the OKI parts while the Philips
parts did not have an external data bus. I even started the
OKI-ARM-MCU yahoo group. But it still has relatively few members and
pretty much no activity. In the end, my design has ended up with a
custom CPU inside the FPGA already on the board. So I am not using
any ARM part.

I would also like to point you to the www.gnuarm.com site for binary
and source for the GNU ARM C toolset.
