I guess I just assumed that it would be understood that was what I meant and that everyone already knew that both Forth Inc and MPE have forths for the ARM CPUs. BTW, you did not finish the old saw, "You get what you pay for, *if you are lucky*." I don't think open source tools are naturally inferior. After all, much of the GNU tools are very good and widely used. But many of the open source Forth tools seem to be very buggy and of limited application. In particular, I have not found anything useful for embedded development in Forth. So you may be getting a check from me at some point soon. I have my assembler nearly done. That was one requirement for porting to a new CPU I recall.
