Thanks!  Looking now I see I missed your main point -- while the "SPI"
on this part is a garden variety LPC SPI module, the "SSP" is a separate
SPI-compatible module with its own FIFO.

Next question: is there a user's guide/pricing/delivery schedule for
this series?
