I am not sure how you would get started on this. I guess first, 
download and read the USB documentatin and the USB printer class 
then you can decide if it is worth your time or not.

Also, This is an easier soloution but it is not ready yet. This is a 
USB-host <-> serial.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
