Hi Leon, I actually have one of these kits. Its made by ZLGMCU ( <http://www.zlgmcu.com/home.asp> http://www.zlgmcu.com/home.asp) and is selling in the far east for $40. Babel fish does a reasonable job of translating in, however, since I have one I'm sure I can do better! The kit contains: 1. ZLGMCU LPC2100 evaluation board (contains 2 serial interfaces, EmbeddedICE connector, 6 user switches, 4 LEDs, Reset switch, Port pins header, piezo speaker and various jumpers). Board is double sided (power/ground are tracked) and manufactured to a high standard with good quality legends. 2. 220AC/9DC US/China PSU. 3. Parallel and Serial cables. 4. CD 5. EasyJTAG Parallel port ICE (very simple wiggler, single IC (244/245?) based design). Software includes: 1. EasyJTAG Remote Debug Interface (ARM RDI std) DLL driver. 2. LPC2xxxx ISP (ISP based Flash programmer provided by Philips). 3. EasyARM software (appears to be software that interfaces via RS232 to the evaluation board. Exact functionality not known as it all in Chinese, however, I suspect it is a very basic terminal type program). 4. Suite of example programs written for ARM ADS environment (which come with CodeWarrior project files). 5. Various PDF manuals 6. uCOS-II Operating System ported to LPC2xxx including full sources. Comments: 1. Overall very impressive for 40$s. 2. Kit does *not* include compiler or source-level debugger. 3. Supplied EasyJTAG ICE + RDI driver can be used with ARM ADS (i.e. its a very low-cost/low-performance drop-in replacement for MultiICE) and probably others like IAR C-Spy etc. I verifed it with the ARM ADX debugger and it works for LPC2xxx (i.e. ARM7TDMI-S only). 4. My far east contacts tell me that cracked versions of ARM ADS are easily available in China for internet download (not via ZLGMCU!). This means a Chinese developer can get fully tooled up for LPC2xxx development for ~$40. This morning he mentioned an ARM kit he had borrowed from a friend; it's called EasyARM. I found this web site: http://www.8051faq.com.cn/arm/easyarm2104.htm with some Googling. It looks interesting, especially for someone who reads Chinese. If the price is 350 Yuan, it must be under $50!
