Lpc2000

Hi,
   Iam working on lpc2214 .Iam using Uart0 and Uart1 in interrupt modes 
for receiving only.
 Iam working on GCC compiler.Iam getting only the first character 
received.The later one is discarded.
The same code is working fine with Keil Arm tools.Of course for GNU 
tools i changed the prototype declaration for interrupt.
Where iam exactly going wrong?
Please if anybody knows the solution help me.
