Or have to work on maintenance on a older product without an ide ? Sorry, I can't do that, as there is no ide ? Get real , we need to be able to work with what ever tools are available. Ever got fimilar with using command line tools ? Can be faster especially when compiling when you need to add or change options. All depends on what you are used to and what you are allowed or have to use.
