Hello, I am new to the lpc200x world.. and Am looking to move over from my AVR tools. I am also a cheap college student.. so price is an issue on getting new hardware/software. What do you'll think the best options are for getting started? I am thinking get the -$29 lpc200x kit I saw discussed on this board (Basically an lpc on a small pcb then the pcb has 5 or 6 connects on the end so I can use it on a breadboard) -getting a 2k point+ bread board -realtek ethernet chip -pcb carried board for realtek check to convert from SOIC to pdip I honestly wouldn't mind spending 50 or 60$ on a solution... but most of the solutions are 50-60$ and don't give me that much more functionality than this little $29 kit.. (they add a max232, and I already have one) Also, what is the best free GNU C compiler for this? Where can I get an inexpensive programmer cable? Are there any free libs (I know with the AVR, everyone uses the proycon lib.. and it can do tons) many thanks! Lee [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
