	32K bytes
	unlimited read/write cycles (their spec)
	10 year data retention (their spec)
        8 pin soic

A nice little device, FM25L256 is 3 V version.

I've got samples on my shelf but never used then in anger

FRAM's usually do have access cycle limits, which apply to both write *and* 
read, however they may be measured in the billions for some devices.

Do you have a part number for a specific one in mind?
