2005-07-04 by Priya Ananth

Hi,
I am experimenting with the lpc2138 evaluation board too. I managed to flash mine with the LPC2000 flash utility (the latest version ver.2.2.2) with xtal freq set to 12000kHz. did u check the jumper settings?

Hi to everyone!
I'm a new user on this ML and I need some help please :).
I just bought a proto board with an LPC2138 arm processor, my problem
is that I think this cpu has a corrupted flash, I can't upload
anything without getting errors.
I uploaded a picture of a diff-screen, on the left side are the bytes
that _should_ be on the flash, on the right side the bytes that _are_
on the flash, red bytes are differencies:

As you can see... At least 90/95% of the program is corrupted.
I tried several tool: Crossworks studio (linux/windows even with JTAG
low clock rate), IAR, LPC2000 flasher, I also tried to debug the
program with OCDRemote, but what I get is a lot of "unknown opcode",
and when an opcode is not unknown, it's not what it should be :).
So what I upload to the flash, via serial-port or via JTAG, is never
what it should be. Am I missing something or my flash is really
corrupted?
Thanx a lot for any help and have a good day.

:)
