Hi,
If you are working with lpc2138 , then i am not very sure if 2.2.1 supports lpc2138(atleast i couldnt find it in the drop down list), i had a tough time finding the installable as most of the versions on the philips sites were giving me installation problems.
If u want to try with 2.2.2 i can email the installable to you.

Hi Priya,
I didn't try ver 2.2.2 (only 2.2.1), jumpers are ok and even trying a
different xtal frequency has no effect, I still get a bunch of errors.
I think I'll send the board back for repair, maybe the cpu is just
defective (this is not common, but it may happen).
