Re: [lpc2000] Re: Philips Flash Utility

2005-07-20 by Tom Convent

Hello Valdef,

I changed my XTAL to 14.7456 MHz and it works until 38400 Bautrate. Where as user manual says XTAL 14.7456 MHz can be used to have higher baudrates

XTAL 14.7456 MHz---> 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 230400.
(page 271, User Manual LPC2119/2129/2194/2292/2294)

I wonder it just woked untill 38400.

any idea guys ??

Tom

My baudrate is 9600, when I want to increase my baudrate to 38400 or
57600, error comes "one of the parameters are not matching" I am
using XTAL 12 MHz. How can I increase baudrate so that uploading to
flash would be faster. I am using lpc2129

I see in the last LPC213x manual a table about the possible
baudrates according to the xtal. (table 196 p.224 in "UM10120_1 -
LPC213x User Manual.pdf")

for example :
xtal 11.0592 > 9600, 19200 & 57600.
xtal 12.2880 > 9600, 19200 & 38400.
xtal 14.7456 > 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 & 230400.

name of the table :
"Table 196:Correlation between possible ISP baudrates and external
crystal frequency (in MHz)".
