I have noticed that our site was temporarily down too. I do not know
why. It should be up again. One issue may be that I made an error in
the URL in my original post; it should be:

http://www.compuphase.com/dhrystone.htm

When the "www" is absent, DNS may need somewhat longer to find the
domain, and with the current load of the entire Internet, the DNS
lookup may time out. A retry then usually works (except under Windows
XP, which caches failed lookups as well as successfull lookups).
