1)  Can another driver chip be substituted for the 74AC244?  Since
only four drivers are needed, couldn't a 74xx125 or equivalent be
used?  What about different logic families, such as the HC or LS parts?

2)  What driver(s) need to be installed to let the software talk
directly to the parallel port on Windows XP?

3)  Does anyone have a detailed, step-by-step HOWTO on setting up a
gcc-gbd-wiggler development environment under Windows?

I'm using the LP2106 and LPC2131 boards from New Micros in Dallas TX.

Thanks for any help with this.  I've been successful with getting the
toolchain up and running, using the serial bootloader.  I'd like to
get a JTAG interface working, too.
