P0.14 is set up as an input and checked by the ROM loader. If it's in whatever state it needs to be in (the state it's not pulled to by the internal resister) then it starts trying to talk to a host PC via the serial port and offering its services as an ISP programming and monitoring interface (upload/download RAM, copy RAM to FLASH, call user code, etc) - otherwise it just runs the code in the FLASH. So in order to program it via the serial port, you need a way of pulling P0.14 up or down or whatever it is :-) > > --jc > ABS
