You'd want to make sure that P0.14 can be set high/Low (for Bootloader), and that you can control DBGSEL and RTCK easily (to enable/disable JTAG). Next time I fire up the machines I'll actually try the ISP utility, as I find it bizarre that the ISP utility prompts to "press reset on the board" but doesn't prompt for any action on P0.14 - but I might be presumptious here. I just think that P0.14 is "banned" from normal I/O use -- unless you can guarantee it is HIGH when leaving Reset. (which is a pain, considering there's a NC pin on the thing) In the applications I have in mind I can't guarantee that, thus the risk is there that the Bootloader is entered on StartUp. B rgds Kris
