burst mode flash and the lpc2292

2005-09-09 by roelof t Hooft

Hi,

As I need to add some more speed when executing from external
flash I thought that it would be a good idea to use burst mode
flash devices (the m58bw016 from ST for example).
But these devices need a few control signals like ^B, ^L and K.
Where K is the input for a clock signal like that from xclk/p323.
But then I need to connect the ^B and ^L signals to the lpc but
there is no mention in the user manual that I could find on
how to do this.
Or maybe I can leave them in a defined state but the datasheet
shows me some timing diagrams in which they are actually used.

Anybody out here has an idea on what to do ?
(or find a flash device that has a lower access time :-)
