Ok a few things, IAR gives 30 day license based on web download, second it gives 30 days for new purchase, if you are using EWARM instead of the web download which is EWARM-EV (evaluation) then you might need to enter a quickstart key. this will give you a 30 day license for evaluation before you decide to purchase IAR EWARM, if you have downloaded than I thnk you need to re-download there is really something wrong Last is if you purchase a kickstart kit, you need to register the software before you can use it or get any support, when asking IAR for support please do include the compiler ie EWARM and the license number if any. This will help IAR give a quicker response, For Kickstart if you have not registered you cannot use the EWARM 32k limit version, hope this helps. regards Samuel --- alain_deloc <alain_deloc@...> wrote: > Hello. > Fisrt of all , i'm sorry if the topic has already > been disscussed here, > but I couldn't find anything regarding my problem. > I have just installed the 30 day IAR evalution EW > for ARM > I have a license key and number. > The license manager says that it's a time limited > license and > everything looks OK. > When I try to compile (even the simplest program) I > get the following > message: > "Fatal Error[Cp001]: Copy protection check, No valid > license found for > this product [24] > " > I'm used to work in the IAR enviroment, I used the > EW for TI MSP430. > > I wrote an e-mail to IAR but so far no response. > Please help. > > Thank you. > > > > > __________________________________ Start your day with Yahoo! - Make it your home page! http://www.yahoo.com/r/hs
