I'm using CP2102 USB to UART bridges in my designs and I am able to communicate very nicely with these devices. On some of my systems I already have 4 coms ports + internal modem = COM1-COM5. When I plug in my usb coms the pc creates coms ports above this from COM6 onwards. By changing the ini file in TeraTerm I can get it to access ports other than the default COM1-COM4 and that all works fine. The problem is when I go to upload new firmware with the LPC2000 Flash Utility, it only runs up to COM5 and there is no way of changing it. At present I am forced to switch across to a laptop that doesn't have any built in coms ports and is quite happy to have usb coms installed from COM1-COM5. Philips, can you please upgrade this utility to handle ports above COM5 for us coms port rich folks. TIA, *Peter*
