IAR LPC2106 KickStart Kit --- JTAG box

IAR LPC2106 KickStart Kit --- JTAG box

2004-02-15 by mli00

I just received my IAR LPC2106 KickStart kit ($149 from Philips
Website), but I could not find the JLINK JTAG box. Should it come
with a JTAG box or not? Anyone knows?

Thanks,
-martin

Local Australian rep quoted Aus$600 + tax
with usb jlink.

So I'd say US$150 (approx $190 AUS) would be the board by
itself ?

a direct quote from lpc210x_dev_tools.ppt (philips send me)
2x 9-pin D-type Serial communications ports

LED's can be connected
to selected port-pins

3 switches for interrupts

Plated-through-hole prototyping matrix

Breakout ports for Logic Analyzer connection

Price of $149 with 32k compiler that won't expire ($299 with JTAG Debugger)

they show iar.com as reference but i could not find any relevant info to
this particular package
a very good picture of the board in the files section...

The Segger J-Link thing only comes with the Kickstart Plus kit.

The 149 USD is Board and 32K compiler
The 299 USD is board, 32K compiler and JTAG

If Philips can't sell you the later then IAR ofiices have a small
stock too.

PS The 32Kbyte IAR ARM compiler with integrated JTAG debugger will be
available for free starting release 4.10 kickstart. Then trot along
to www.olimex.com for a cheap LPC board and Wiggler compatible JTAG.

I think IAR might start to sell the JTAG alone -but maybe the best
price is at www.segger.com direct.

Hi,

Jason is right the USB to JTAG interface from Segger is not included
in the $149 deal. The package with the USB to JTAG is not on the
website yet but I've been told it is ready for ordering and yes the
price is $299. That however seems lower than the 298 Euro I found on
the Segger website for the JTAG to USB stand alone.

Cheers, Bob
