Olimex LPC-P212X boards specifications erronous

2005-12-24 by gussabina

Hi:
I lost a long time trying to debug a simple program reading the
Buttons, in the Olimex LPC-P2124/9 boards. Finally, I discovered that
the buttons are not connected to the microcontroller at P0.15 and
P0.16, as the board information says. Instead, they use the P0.10 and
P0.11 pins
Jus in case, I downloaded the information again, but the errors still
there...And I downloaded an examples using the buttons using the P0.15
and P0.16 pins...Does the author of these examples test them???
Can someone confirm what I 'm saying? If so, it would be a great job
from Olimex, if they correct the board specifications...

Thanks
Gus

No surprise! The LPC2106 board has the same problem. The schematic
shows the button on P0.31 but it is connected to P0.15.

I don't trust their documentation at all. But, the hardware works
fine and that's what I really care about.

I suspect there are hardware changes after the documents are
completed.
