I have had some difficulty in being able to connect to the LPC2138.  The 
BDI2000 reports ICE-BREAKER initialization failures.  Then I have to 
wait for the pod to timeout (10 seconds) and retry the linkup.  
Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 tries before it connects.

Is that "strange behavior" like you are having?

Yes, sounds similar, but just the other way around.

First time after power up the debugger can take control about the 
device, any further startup attempt without power up fails. 

Mask B is working perfectly all the time . I'm going change the
device.
