24 pin LPC2103 module

I was thinking of getting some PCBs made for a little 24 pin module
using the LPC2103. The proposed schematic is module.pdf in the Files
section. Of course, I've had to dispense with some of the I/Os, and
JTAG connection is via the pins. Many applications don't need all the
available I/O that is provided on the 40 pin modules, and small size
and low cost might be more important.

I'm open to suggestions regarding the available signals, my choice
might not be the best one.

The module will fit into a standard 0.6" 24 pin  socket.

Is anyone interested?

Yes, sounds interesting to me though I will not be using it....  
Like to see 8-bit AVR being replaced by 32-bit LPC2xxx...   :)
So, pls make it 0.3" DIP28 and pin compatible to Atmega8...  :)

I too was thing on the same line but with 40 pin header to replace
P89V51RD2.
Both have serial boot loader.

I owuld prefere Dip40 or at least Dip28.
If you make some pcbs, I would be
interested in 2, even when it is Dip24.

Umm...  OK, if you must squeeze that LPC2103/LQFP48 in between 
the 2-rows of pins, then:
- 0.6" DIP28 but still pin compatible to Atmega8
- I will use Right-Angle Pins to convert the pin direction 
  making them parallel to the PCB. And make the 2 rows of pins 0.3"
  apart, (One row below PCB and one row above PCB) and plug onto
  the Atmega8 Socket...  Just to make myself happy... :)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
