Mystery Power Control behavior of LPC2124

Mystery Power Control behavior of LPC2124

2004-03-13 by haack0815

Today I test my new board with a LPC2124.

I play a bit with the PCONP register to turn off unused resources of
the device to save power.
First the reset value of the PCONP register is 0x7FFFE that means that
bit 18 to 0 is used, but the Usermanual says that are only bit 12 to 0
are used.
I reset bit 18..13 and now i save more than 16 mA.
It seems that the LPC2124 die is the same as of the LPC2129 with 4 CAN
Interfaces but no external CAN Pins.
The Keil uVision, I evaluate, says that are 6 CAN Interfaces available
at the LPC2124 (some kind of bug or parts of a future device in the
sofware??)

Has anyone the same experience with the 2124 ?

Andreas

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
